About

Hello, and welcome to the personal weblog of Greg Cangialosi.

I am an entrepreneur living in Baltimore, MD USA. Work hard and play hard are words that I live by. I am currently the President & CEO of Blue Sky Factory, Inc. We are a leading email marketing service provider.

I qualify as a 10-year veteran of entrepreneurship, a.k.a a serial entrepreneur. My previous startup ventures have included a 3 year run in the music industry as a concert promoter, starting and operating a touring food vending business, and running a small web / interactive firm, all before starting up my current company Blue Sky Factory, Inc.

I’m into technology, business, media, marketing and music. My head is usually full of this stuff in one way or another on a daily basis. I also qualify as a frequent traveler.

I received my B.A degree in English from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in 1996. Today, I am actively involved with the advancement of the university. I am currently serving my second 3 year term on the board of directors for the alumni association, and am involved in various strategic committees.

I am an entrepreneur and a marketer, all the way through. I have been authoring this blog, The Trend Junkie, since 2003. This is where I write about subjects that I find interesting, mostly involving entrepreneurship, marketing, & technology.

I am also co-author of the book, “The Business Podcasting Book” the first in a series of books under the Podcast Academy brand, published by Focal Press, an imprint of Elsevier.

My wife Theresa, who is also an entrepreneur of many years, our newborn daughter Gabriella, and I live in our row home in the groovy neighborhood of Federal Hill / South Baltimore, a.k.a. SoBo. My wife also owns and operates both a retail and online business selling her own line of natural aromatherapy body products. You can check it out at SoBotantical.

For the record, I must say that the opinions expressed in this blog are mine, and mine alone, and not those of my company.

Feel free to drop me a line at gcangialosi [at] gmail [dot] com.
